Within this lesson you will learn why the “rich become richer and the poor become poorer” and how you can let go of your limiting beliefs to increase your social class.
Before I share 7 Simple ways you can increase your wealth, health, and power! Realize “Being Rich” is a State of Mind.
Live Well Below Your Means.
Great offense is exciting but great defense wins games. The average millionaire does NOT look like a millionaire. Unlike our want to consume things, make money, earn money, and spend money, millionaires are making money saving and investing money while creating wealth. Millionaires more often than not are frugal, frugal, frugal and there’s a reason for this they understand that credit card debt, high percentage rates, vacations they can’t afford are not the fast track to wealth.
Spend Your Time, Energy, & Money In Ways That Build Wealth.
Millionaires didn’t get to where they are on their own, they made an investment and commitment in themselves and their knowledge, skills, and abilities. They hired the best coaches, NOT just the coaches they could afford but the coaches who pushed them, who had success, and could prove that they could transform the results they currently had into the results that they wanted.
This is one of the most important investments I have made that changed the course of my business. I hired the #1 Sub-Conscious Re-Programming Coach in the world Jim Lutes. Being a coach without having a coach is like being a teacher without having a license it just doesn’t make sense. This investment alone saves time, helps you avoid mistakes which would have cost thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, and helps guide you to take the action necessary to achieve your goals in a shorter time frame. Find a coach that resonates with you, and stick with home or her no matter how hard the journey might be. The non-wealthy say they don’t have time to plan while the wealthy make time for it. Learn to identify and invest in assets that produce income. These investments protect and grow assets for years to come.
Choose Financial Independence Over Displaying a High Social Status.
The wealthy typically live by the motto you aren’t what you drive. Cars, mortgages, and keeping up with the latest fashion isn’t on their to-do list in fact millionaires realize the time, and money it takes to maintain the status quo is time and money they could be using to build their assets. Don’t get me wrong they spend money but not on things that depreciate. The wealthy run highly efficient operations in both their business and their home.
Teach Your Children to Foster a “Wealth Mind-Set.”
While the wealthy are teaching their children how to earn, keep, and invest their money the not so wealthy are teaching their children that “money is the root of all evil.” Those who are given less are motivated to accumulate more on their own merits. The fact of the matter is 80% of millionaires are first generation millionaires; they have made their money on their own, in their lifetime. Many of these folks have been immigrants to the U.S., starting out with minimal cash on hand. Work hard to learn and generate wealth—it CAN be done, and happens in across the world every day.
Become Proficient In Creating Opportunities.
Wealthy pay well for products and services that protect and growth their wealth, so even though they are frugal the concept of creating opportunities where others saw none is important to them. While you’re sitting and waiting for an opportunity to arise, for your phone to ring, or to win the lottery the wealthy are out networking and building relationships while creating opportunities to share their passion. Opportunities do not come to those who wait they come to those who are prepared and create them.
Follow Your Action & Your Passion.
Following your passion is important but not nearly as important as following your action. Action and passion are closely linked. Passion is your life’s calling that thing that wakes you up every morning and compels you to take action. Action in the absence of passion is meaningless. It is action that creates great health which is linked to wealth and power. Action is not only about accomplishing an objective but knowing how to get there. Accepting, choosing and taking responsibility for your thoughts and actions influences others to do the same.
Almost always wealthy are healthy. They spend time in the gym and doing activities they love. This time alone, or time spent on themselves helps generate new ideas, with clarity and confidence they are able to create more value and ask for more money. Tony Robbins always says he can tell what people value as soon as they sit in his audience just by looking at them, and I tend to agree. If you value hygiene you won’t show up looking like your homeless, if you value health you won’t show up with a beer belly, etc… Aligning your values and beliefs with opportunities is key to achieving your dreams.
